Frequently Asked Questions
Please feel free to drop me an email if you have a question that doesn’t appear on this page
What are your jewellery items made of?
All of my items including chains and links are made from solid 925 sterling silver.
The Carder Bee earrings do have an enamel and rhodium plating and the Queen Bee pendant is gold plated.
Are any of your pieces hallmarked?
Most of my pieces are under 7.78 grams and therefore do not require a UK Assay Office hallmark. However they do have a 925 stamp on them to indicate they are 925 sterling silver.
The hexagon bangles and cuffs are over this weight and therefore are described as white metal despite also having the 925 stamp on them.
If I buy a piece, will it come in a box?
I only use recyclable cardboard packaging. Each item is presented on a card, wrapped in tissue paper and then placed inside a pillow pack. When it is posted, it goes inside a cardboard box that fits through a standard size letter box.
Does the silver tarnish?
Sterling silver does tarnish over time. It can also react to some perfumes and body lotions making it appear dark grey. However this is very easy to clean off with either using a silver dip or cloth purchased from most household stores or jewellers.
How does the percentage of my purchase get paid to the Alzheimers Society?
When you buy any piece from any collection, the percentage (either 10% for Bumble, Honey, Honeycomb & Worker or 50% for Carder Bee) is collected and saved until the last day of each month, where it is transferred directy into the Alzheimers Society Charity account.
Do I have to buy something to make a donation to the Alzheimers Society?
If you want to make a donation to the Alzheimers Society without making any purchases, you can click their link at the foot of this page to go directly to their web site.
Do you charge postage and do you post outside of the UK?
Yes there are charges for posting both in the UK and outside of the UK. You can select the type of postage you require at the checkout
Do you accept returns?
I accept returns on most items EXCEPT for any style of earrings. This is in line with standard UK hygiene law
How do I return an item that isn't earrings?

You will have to pay postage costs on returning items
